Mike Stabile has spent over a decade as a journalist and documentary filmmaker, advocating for sex workers and exploring issues of sexual freedom. His work has appeared in prominent outlets like The Daily Beast, Salon, Buzzfeed, Playboy, and The New York Times. His documentary Seed Money, which tells the story of Chuck Holmes, was recognized by The Advocate as one of the Best Documentaries of 2015.

Stabile also founded Polari Media to help marginalized communities communicate more effectively with mainstream audiences. Since 2013, he has been the communications lead for the Free Speech Coalition, a key advocate for the rights of adult industry workers and businesses.
